CupCake Card

Supplies

  • 1 sheet 8.5x11 solid cardstock in cream or lt. brown color
  • 1 sheet 4x6 Glitter cardstock for top of cupcake
  • Printed or solid 4x6 cardstock for cupcake base
  • Ribbons or rick-rack color of your choice
  • Topping – use flowers, buttons, or rhinestones.
  • Meriken double-stick tape # 30013284

Tools

  • Pencil
  • Pinking Shears #77492504 or #77298539
  • Scissors
  • Paper Creaser #30003774 or #30078165

Directions

  1. Fold 8.5x11 cardstock in half to measure 5.5x8.5, crease the fold with paper creaser. Trace and cut out the cupcake shape card. Set aside.
  2. Trace and cut the cupcake top and base pieces. Turn both cut pieces over and adhere the double-stick tape along the edges. Peel away paper backing from the double-stick tape and place to the front of card. See picture for placements.
  3. Finishing touches: Embellish the base of cupcake with ribbons or rickrack. Decorate the top of cupcake with colorful sprinkles.
