DIRECTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut 2 feet of the green aluminum wire and use the round nose pliers to coil it up until you have a coiled line of wire that looks like a tube.

2. Grab the first coil and turn the coil perpendicular to the rest of the coils.  This will be the top of the tree and will attach to the star to the component.

3. Using the round nose pliers, wrap the coiled line of wire around itself.  Wrap tighter on the top and looser as you go down to form your Christmas tree shape. That’s it for the tree! Let’s move onto the star!

4. Cut 3 inches of brass wire and use the round nose pliers to make a small loop on one end. Continue to bend the end of the wire until you make a small spiral.

5. Using a flat nose pliers, create a zig zag pattern with the rest of the brass wire. Make each section between the bends the same by using the width of the pliers as a guide.

6. Adjust your zig zag wire into a star shape with the spiral as the center of the star.

7. On the tail of your star, make a loop. The loop should be right below the spiral where the tree will connect to the star. Now you have a star and a tree! The next steps are optional, but will add that extra sparkle to your earrings!

8. Take 2 inches of the brass wire and make a loop on one end. String on the pearl and make a loop with the remainder of the wire. Use the loops to connect the star to the pearl and the pearl to the ear wire.

9. Repeat all steps for the other side of your earrings.
